Paige Knickle is an Edmonton-born improvisor, award-winning vocalist, worship leader, actor, and web designer. As a cast member in Grindstone Theatre’s ’11 o’ Clock Number’ from Seasons 3 through 5, she had the privilege of performing at the 2017 Edmonton Fringe Festival with the troupe.
Paige regularly records original songs with her two Edmonton-based bands, Hold for Home and The Copper Coins. Hold for Home’s single ‘Gorgeous’ won the Ballyhoo 2012 Editor’s Choice Award for best Music Recording. With The Copper Coins, Paige and her bandmate take the Psalms as they are written and set them to music.
Additionally, Paige functions as the Worship Arts Assistant at Ellerslie Road Baptist Church, leading the youth in worship on Fridays and the larger congregation in worship on some Sundays. Paige enjoys performing in plays and musical theatre with select theatre credits as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, the Leading Player in Pippin, and Zubaida Ula in The Laramie Project.
Paige also enjoys dancing and recently received her Zumba instructor’s license. Paige believes that her God-given call is to journey with others to let them experience the Joy of the Holy Spirit! Paige is thankful to Rejoice Alberta for their passion for developing local Christian Artists and facilitating the spread of the Gospel message through song!
